Believe it or not, Whiskey in the Jar was actually the very first song I attempted to sing WHILE playing in on my Scottish smallpipes. I was living in an apartment in the city at the time. My poor neighbours!!
Whiskey in the Jar sounds awesome on the bagpipes, I've been playing (and singing) this great Irish song for years. Despite good intentions to write out some bagpipe sheet music for Whiskey in the Jar, I but kept getting side-tracked with other bagpipe tunes. Sigh!
It's cool Metallica brought this Irish Song to a wider audience, but now I'm getting Whiskey in the Jar back to it's Celtic Routes with bagpipe sheet music (that I've FINALLY done) and a full Bagpipe Tune Tutorial with 9 bagpipe lessons!
